Insert your FQDN

3. Enter a promo code (if known)

If you have a promotional code and qualify for the discount for SMEs with turnover < £10m, please enter it in the box provided.

4. Complete payment

Complete the payment instructions and complete the order, completing an account if you are a new customer.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email to your account.  This will provide the IP address to point your domain name to.

Find the IP address assigned to your service

5. Create A record for your IP/Domain

Once the IP address is assigned, you can update the DNS of your domain name to point to this IP address.

Create an ‘A’ record in your domain name control panel to direct the fully qualified domain name to this IP address.

Example:

A Record

Host: conference [this will be the text before the domain name itself]

Points to: 46.43.20.11

This guide explains how to setup an A record on the Easyspace control panel

6. Rebuild your server

Once this record is created and resolving, you can click “Rebuild” in the manage.iomart.io GUI to rebuild the server.  This step will secure your server with an SSL certificate, so there is encryption on your conference server.

Rebuild the server

After the ‘Rebuild’ button is clicked, confirmation will be sought.  The options default to what is required, so just confirm the re-install.

The server will then re-initialise, secure and be ready for use within minutes.

Your Jitsi video conference service will be accessible at your fully qualified domain name – e.g. https://conference.companyabc.co.uk
